Seems like I have another case of the "I Want's"

Christmas season is obviously coming to an end, and with that, I have to take down all of my holiday decorations. Since I've never had regular decorations in my house, this is posing a problem for me! I have no idea what to do with my mantle now that I have to take down all my Christmas stuff, tv stand, or my dining room table. I made cute little placemats for my dining room table, but the time has come to take them down.

The placemats I currently have for my dining room table are black and white, with big bold flowers on them. Perfect for spring or summer, but I'm not feeling them for winter. So earlier today, I embarked on an internet journey for some inspiration for some more "winter appropriate" placemats for my table. I was thinking maybe something grey, as my curtains are grey and it's my new favorite neutral.

In my hunt, I came across these beauties.


How beautiful are they? I obviously have a fetish for anything tree related (I think it's the simplicity that gets me!) and this is right up my alley. And they are $2.99. It's going to take all the willpower I have not to give that company my credit card number so they can send them to my house... wonder if I could possibly make my own instead? (I'm forgetting the fact that I can't sew!!!)

So... yeah. I want them. I love them. I have to have them!!!
